Georgian Tradition

Potomac, Maryland is a sylvan retreat of gracious homes set amongst woodlands just outside the hustle and bustle of metropolitan Washington, DC. This family house was modestly scaled and no longer met the needs of their large extended family. Working with architect Geri Yantis, Barry designed a completely new residence, one that was inspired by traditional Georgian architecture and its values of symmetry, balance, and proportion, a home firmly connected to the property with views of the river and the surrounding landscape that could accommodate children, grandchildren, and guest in an elegant and inviting manner.
