New and Old on the Potomac River

Built alongside the Potomac River, this newly constructed home aptly reflects the owners’ personalities — eclectic and down-to-earth, mixing classic and modern, new and old. Barry and the owners began by traveling together on buying trips across the country [and to Europe] searching for just the right furnishings. The time they spent together had an additional advantage: Barry got to know the owners better and drew out nuances of their personalities and subtly injected them back into his designs for their home.
