Sylvan Setting in Chevy Chase, Maryland

Working with architect Geri Yantis of Sutton Yantis Associates Architects, Barry designed this gracious residence for a single gentleman. Nestled into a park-like acreage in a top Washington, DC neighborhood, the home suited this young outdoorsman’s lifestyle perfectly. Generous covered terraces and balconies are fitted with enormous French doors and windows, bringing light, natural color, and beautiful views into every room of the house. The ethereal master suite, tailored and restrained yet imbued with traditional elegance is a showstopper, as is the dark, quietly luxurious living room inspired by the woodland views and the pastorally scenic dining room.
