Tottier Creek Farm

One of the last undeveloped areas of the Eastern Seaboard, the rolling hills of Albemarle County are still dotted with Colonial-era plantation and estates, including historic Tottier Creek Farm. Built in 1760, the wooden frame farmhouse is set on a gently rising knoll with views of the countryside. When the current owners purchased the property, they were looking for a quiet retreat, something with character and charm. Although the house was structurally sound, it needed improvements. At the same time, the old colonial needed to be brought forward for twenty-first-century living with updated baths and family areas for visiting children and guests.
